Banquet date

Post by grovefromnh » Fri Nov 23, 2007 8:29 am

Glad to see that the BOD is doing their usual good job of informing the dwindeling membership. The first Sat. in Jan has been the date in the past. Since we don't 'need' the "Drift" for info and nothing from board meetings or financial statments gets posted on this site, how is the membership supposed to know 'what's going on?'

I've asked in the past about having the meeting minutes posted online. The word has been that it was being worked on.

From the information I have gathered the banquet will be January 12 at the Crowne Plaza (in the Hunt Room) in Nashua, NH.

I assume that an e-mail will go out to the membership once the details are confirmed with more specific information and pricing info.

To all.

Any member can run for election for the BOD.
Put your name on the ballet and get involved.

I will say we got caught off guard about the Drift issue. There are things in the works as far as the web site and registration. Just takes a little time to set up.

In the mean time, all this information is available at the monthly meeting and it will be covered at the banquet.

I am banking on this Mark. I have a business trip to Asia and will plan to leave the day after this banquet...just to show my solidarity and see COM friends. 8)
Folks, the COM executive members are all volunteers. Last time I checked this means giving up your own free time for the cause of the club.

I sit on as Alfa Club director, Cub Scout Committee Chairman, Alumni VP, and the job is never fully appreciated (not that we are there for the title anyway) so I commend all BOD members for a great job on everything that is done for the club.
Cheers! :sunny:

All I did was call Crowne Plaza and asked when COMSCC had reservations.

It took me all of two minutes that anyone could have taken the time to do.

SAVE THE DATE!

Post by WillM » Mon Dec 03, 2007 1:17 am

The COMSCC annual banquet is in six weeks.

The date is Saturday, January 12.

Location is the Crowne Plaza hotel in Nashua.

Consider this a "save the date". :D

Information will be posted on the website, these forums, and sent out in an email to the membership soon.

Banquet info

Post by grovefromnh » Tue Dec 11, 2007 5:20 am

One month before the banquet and STILL no 'official' info !!! I'd think that the home page at least would be updated from 'Lime Rock results'.

Online registration for the banquet is online on the home page when I clicked on it this morning - have you refreshed your browser cache?
