Do you know about the NMA? I have been a member and supported for years. http://www.motorists.org/

They are the guys that overturned the 55 speed limit before most of you were born-- in the 70s. their current issues are:
Reasonable Speed Limits and stopping speed traps
Stopping Red-Light Running -- and red light cameras
Rational Drunk-Driving Laws
Improved Traffic Flow
Sensible Safety Regulations

Do you want the Government to have a complete Black Box recording of everything your car is and has been doing at any time they choose to access you car's computer by radio without your permission or a warrant? They are working on it.

They do uncover some irrational behavior of MADD. Like efforts to prevent you from starting our car if there is ANY trace of alcohol in on your breath or in your car.

Yes, that's what I was getting at. If you look up "overreaction" in the dictionary, there's a MADD logo on the page. I believe that a number of years ago, Car & Driver did a series on irrational drunk driving legislation.

And before I get flamed for not taking drunk driving seriously enough, all I'm saying is that effective and appropriate legislation rarely comes out of an atmosphere of hysteria.

I do have one of those, Will. It freaks the hell out of my cats when I chase them with the car.

Good one Jo , but you have to remember Raj is not "on the track " much-- mostly off the track
