I'd like to specifically express thanks to the flaggers with the passing flags. I had a number of far more powerful cars in front of me(uh, I guess that would mean everyone) on the straight as we came out of 12 and the flagger would immediately throw the passing flag. I took a run in group 3 near the end of the day and was pleasantly surprised by the quick point bys that I got and the backing off down the straight. Nearly ideal behavior, from what I saw! Thanks flaggers and group 3 guys who put up with my buzz bomb for a session.

Amen, awesome event!!! Note to self, join in on more COMSCC events for the 2008 season.

MANY thanks to ALL the volunteers/flag staff. i know SCCA has a space on their registraition for adding $$ to the volunteer/flaggers, perhaps COMSCC might consider the same for 2008 so we drivers can add funds to the staff as show of appreciation. i would gladly give an extra $10 per event in a show of support.

I agree that the flagging at NHIS was very good. Glen was on the wall both days, and I think he ran control for the track. He was also there on Wed/Thurs with the Audi club. I found Glen to be very professional and good at his job. Andrew could comment better, but from my limited experience while helping with timing during some of the time trials, it was clear that control and the flaggers at NHIS were on the ball and helped us have another successful event.

Alex, Andrew, Bill F, Bill H, Boe, Carl, Mark, Wendy, (alphabetical order!) and all of the other staff, instructors, and volunteers are assets to the club and deserve our thanks.

Another great event, and another opportunity for 1+ hours of open track after the time trials!

My only comment concerns placing the ST2 cars in run Group #2. There were a couple of very slow, to non existent point bys.
I realize the attempt was to even out the number of cars in the run groups, but the speed differentials between the cars was pretty extreme at times, so point bys were a pain to both the passers and passees. I know when Will and Gordon point me by, but others don't, that some are not paying attention. Not a big complaint, just a thought for future run group sorting.

It was a great time this past weekend
It was great weather once the tracked dried out
Everybody was so helpful and great to deal with.

Another great event and kudos to all those who work so hard to put it on. I was thrilled to get signed off for my license, got some positive feedback from my instructor on Saturday and others in my run group on Sunday and shaved a full 4.1 sec off my lap times! Still way off the pace in class but I'm headed in the right direction.

Thanks also to the instructors I've had this year (John S and Gordon A) for helping me find how to put the car into the torque band.
