Oh yeah, that FC'er and CFC'er were both (i think) Pro2k/F2000 or some such hot shoes and were smoking awesome with a lot of experience plus that Zetec engine in the red FC and newer/improved FC chassis probably helps. The Jagermeister CFC driver and that FC'er were having a great battle together. Mr. CFC and i had a great chat about stuff, enjoyed dinner together and he related his first few years to me.... so guess life aint too bad as we discussed my times and being a newbie and all that. It is great that many of the FC guys are so awesome. Laverty and many others have really been awesome this past year.brucesallen wrote:8 inch and ten inch.
Note that the fastest FC (actually Club FC) was 5.5 seconds faster than you and 2.5 seconds faster than me!
Back to tires, oh well, could have easily done low 56's at the beginning few laps, then mid to low 55's and maybe even high 54's in the middle and ?? at the end. Those 35s i had were toast Bruce! Not saying i'd keep up with Mr. Driving For 40+ Years Bruce, but as a newbie it aint too shabby.
Wow, you must have tons of grip with such wide rubber under you! Saw what the SCCA 45s looked like at LRP in the Hoosier truck and the difference in total rubber width aint subtle (around 8 inches total now that i know your specs)! Geeze, you have an entire extra tire in width over me!
