ALM 7002A 2 post lift

No it is not and from what I've read it won't be. If you look at the design and think about the reaction forces the back of the helmet gets pulled down and tilts the head back exposing the chin. Better than nothing but seems deficient to the SFI spec.

Cool and dark is good with no air if mounted. Store them in trash bags to slow the compound cure. You can soak a rag in tire softening compound like Formula V and put it in the bag as well. Freezing is ok as long as you don't roll the car around on them when they are that cold.

On another note, we had a very upset driver at our Oct 25/26 event because he was told to return to the pits for his arm restraints. He was driving an open car and sputtered that SCCA didn not require them. Is that true? In level 1 / PDX they are not required per 3.1.3.4 of the TT rules for a stree...
