From the COM Sports Car Club's rule book: "COM TIME TRIALS ARE RUN IN THE SPIRIT OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AND ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE COMPETITION FOR SPORTS CARS, RACING CARS AND SEDANS. ENTRANTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED THE COMPETITIVENESS OF ANY VEHICLE IN ANY CLASS." I dont think anyone really ...

Re: Potential New Bee

Re: New Board Member With Ls1 Swapped Mazda Rx7
So after all of the crash photos, hostile responses, and predictions of your impending violent death, you went out and had a great time on the track with another club. I'm glad you found a place to run that car. Lol.. good to hear someone elses view on this thread because I felt like I was being de...

Re: New Board Member With Ls1 Swapped Mazda Rx7
Thanks for the response man. I know its an unfair question. I guess my phrasing wasnt the best either. I wanted to really understand if COM and SCDA are the same thing or if there is more to COM that I should know about that I wouldent get at an SCDA or other HPDE and I think I'm starting to underst...

Re: New Board Member With Ls1 Swapped Mazda Rx7
I survived the first HPDE even though the conditions were insane for a new driver in a nearly 400whp car. A couple good shots from the day Just shows you how wet and dark it was, this was late morning almost lunch time http://www.tracktimephotos.com/large/2010/20100823_NHMS_NOV_7506.jpg http://www.t...

Re: New Board Member With Ls1 Swapped Mazda Rx7
Understood.. Please this is getting less productive. Your drumming on about things I did not ask about. This is my first HPDE and I plan to take it easy. I am getting into HPDEs mainly because I found its too easy to overdrive the car at autox because theres no consequences. Everyone knows the conse...

Re: New Board Member With Ls1 Swapped Mazda Rx7
I have my first HPDE with SCDA on monday. I had harnesses installed (albeit incorrectly and even I knew it, just to keep me firmly in the seat during autox and because the chance of flipping with street tires in autox is very very slim) But I just put the factory 3 points back in the car and kept th...
