Raj, I have about 10 ft of 2.5" brake duct hose if you want to pick it up in Marlborough. It's not silicone, but high temp hose like they use in NASCAR.

After having used most of them and also owning a DL1, I bought one of these: http://www.aimsports.com/products/tg/index.html Nice big clear display, memory and can be DC wired. Works great at night which was important to me ;) Just be sure to order it with the extended cable, not the shorter motorcy...

With a warm engine anything over 170 is o.k... They should all be pretty close to each other. # 3 is the problem one.

Drive it

A transporter from the S/E will probably cost $400-$600. If he has the time, it might be cheapest to fly down on a $100 one-way ticket and drive it back.
