Re: Pucker up! We're going to MOSPORT!
Requesting assistance: Hi all, I am really looking forward to a Dry Mosport to see what the new GT-R will run with 100+ lbs less weight. :D I was wondering if anyone had space to transport my track wheels up to Mosport. Economically it actually makes more sense to drive the car up and stay at a hote...

Re: Mosport in May
Personally I like the rain.
If anybody would like to throw an "early departer" a bone and let him know what his time was, that would be very thoughtful.
Thanks,
Mike

Request for assistance
Hi all, I am finally going to get a chance to take the GT-R to Mosport!!! :D I just started a new job, and they are cool with taking time off for the event, but I am on the road and will not have a chance to register my RV before the weekend. Therefore I am going to have to drive the car up. I was w...

Re: Has Anyone ever tried Ferodo Brakes
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the feedback.
I am going to give these a try since:
1. There are not that many pads made for the GTR yet.
2. The Pagid pads are 3X more expensive.
3. I will probably be using street rubber for the first 1 or 2 events.
See you all in April.
Mike

Has Anyone ever tried Ferodo Brakes
Hi all, I'm looking for some track pads for the new GTR, believe it or not, people want ALOT of money for GTR related stuff. Anyway, Ferodo has brought their DS2500 Compound to the US for the GTR and I was wondering if anybody had used or heard of these pads. Any feed back would be appreciated. Than...

Wondering why?
Can someone please tell me why the 350Z has been moved to SSU? If your response is because it has similar statistics to the 300ZX-TT then I submit that the 300ZX-TT should be moved back to SSGT not move the 350Z to SSU. In an analysis of Weight, Horsepower, Torque, Skidpad, and breaking distance the...

Thanks Guys, I have made my decision.
Thanks for all of the input.
I think I am going to try out the Goodyears.
Since I only need them on the track for really wet weather they seem to be a good choice.

Thanks for the input. What about Goodyear?
Thanks for the input guys. What about the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3? Any experience with these? They have the best wet traction rating on Tire Rack's survey results. A little less expensive than S03s and Pilot Sports. I think I am down to the following choices. 1. Eagle F1 GS-D3 2. S03s 3. Pilot Sport...

Rain Tires
I am in the process of deciding on street tires for my Z. I was wondering who has an opinion on the best performing street tires which could be used on the track in heavy rain events?
Thanks,
Mike
