Rule Change #14: Allow fix backed racing seats with factory belts

Rulebook Section: IV. 6. b. ii.
Old Rule:
All cars are factory- equipped with “DOT” (FMVSS 209) approved 3-point safety belts.
These belts are considered the minimum protection for high performance driving. Factory
belts may only be used with the stock seats. Replacement of the factory seats with any
fixed-back racing seat requires the use of a minimum 5-point harness, properly installed.
Proposed New Rule:
Remove, allow fixed back racing seats with factory 3-point belts.
