Time trial license questions

I want to try to make at least one event this season, I haven't been back to a track with comscc since 2013, when i blew up my wrx at watkins glen! I received my time trial license at the glen in 2012 from instructor Fred Ferguson.
I have a few questions regarding my racecar, since it only has a drivers seat.

Question 1: if I would need to have an instructor for my return since it's been a while since last I was on track?

If so, I probably won't be able to make an event this year, since I don't have to means to install another seat and harness!

Question 2: how many events would I need to run with an instructor to be able to drive solo again?
