How old is the tank? (does it have a build tag on it?)

Tank was built in 1978 according to the tag. It is in very good shape and didn't seem rusty at all. I think it was set up with an automatic drain before I got it. It has only had light use since, I don't use air tools much I guess.

The tag also says it is only 80 gal.

What are the dimensions? L x W x H

It is approximately 60" long, tank is 20" diameter, maybe 5 feet high.

Jeff, if you plug it into two outlets you get 220v, right?

Have you looked at 110 to 220 power converter?

Those converters aren't very efficient, especially on an old motor with magnetic starters. You could replace the 220v motor with a 110v modern one,but the amperage required will be beyond most existing 110v circuits, and the air output would be less (with greater electricity usage)

That is a pretty good deal for a shop compressor. I just picked up a used vertical 80 gallon for $400 a few months ago, but this one looks to have a much better compressor and motor on it. If I had a place to store it until I am done building my barn I'd come grab it so I could have one in the new barn and one in the main house!
