Palmer 2, Oct 29 and 30, 2016

Post by chaos4NH » Sun Oct 16, 2016 11:45 am

Happy Hallowe'en!

GARAGES
>Garages are available ONLY by contacting the track on their web site DIRECTLY. COM does not rent the garages.

>The covered car ports also are available by direct rental from the track, at a published price of $80.00 for 2 days.

GENERAL
» Entry road speed limit is 25 mph. Paddock speed limit is 10 mph.

» The racing surface, including track entry, exit and hot pit, is counter clockwise. At no time may any vehicle operate in a clockwise direction unless so directed by an event official.

» Cars on pit lane may be pushed backward but not driven backwards except when directed by an event official.

» The default sound limit is 96 decibels on the A scale measured at 50 feet from the track edge. Vehicles violating the dB limit will be black flagged and not allowed on track without corrective measures. Three strikes: you are done. COM does not set the sound limits, the track management does based on contractual agreements with surrounding towns. Please don't push the issue! If your car is a 97db car, my guess is you WILL exceed that at Palmer.

» Motor vehicles are not allowed on the race track after closing (cold) in the evening until opened next morning.

» Bicycling and walking on the race track during non-use (cold) hours is permitted only by prior arrangement.

» Firearms and fireworks of any kind are prohibited.

» Wood fires may be made and maintained only in PMP-designated or approved fire pits between sunset and sunrise.

» Small children cannot be left unattended.

» Pets must be on a leash at all times while on track property.

» Radio controlled drones or any device that intentionally leaves the ground (I guess that unintentional flight in your car is allowed - not recommended!) may not operate on PMP property.

» Non-street legal vehicles may be operated on PMP property only. Anyone operating a non-street legal vehicle off PMP property will be banned from the premises.

>> No bedding of brakes allowed on any of the roads outside of the actual racing surface.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICIES
» No alcohol may be consumed on PMP property until the track surface is closed (cold) at end of day.

» Illegal drug possession or use on PMP property is not permitted at any time.

» Persons using prescription drugs that bear warnings against operating motor vehicles shall not use the race track surface and are not allowed in any areas marked "Authorized personnel only".

» Persons violating these policies may be immediately escorted from the premises.

PADDOCK USE
» Parking in reserved parking or RV areas is permitted by registration and payment only.

» Oil, transmission fluid, anti-freeze, or other hazardous fluids may be left only in designated containers.

» Paved surfaces may not be marked with anything other than chalk.

» Do not drive stakes or nails into the asphalt.

» Stakes may be driven in unpaved areas only. There are buried utilities, you will be charged for repairs.

Entry on Friday night, Oct 28 will be allowed. After 500 PM

Track entry on Saturday and Sunday morning is 630AM. We are paying for overnight security.

No fuel at the track. Gas available (all grades of street and race fuel) 2 miles from the track.

Details on lunch for Saturday and Sunday will be posted when information is available.

PLEASE CHECK BACK TO THIS POSTING OFTEN. MANY TIMES THERE ARE LAST MINTES CHANGES DUE TO SUCH THINGS AS WEATHER (SNOW MIGHT BE A FACTOR - BRING YOUR STUDDED SNOW TIRES?).

It's not what you drive, it's how you drive. "Lap times matter"

Showers are really hot but they need bench, curtain, clothes hooks and floor matt.
