FS: ITA 1986 BMW 325es

FS: 1986 BMW 325es ITA road racing workhorse, could easily be changed to be a enduro gas sipping king as well...

History: The car was previously owned by the late Steve Stockman, a local to the upstate NY region. He commissioned a garage in Florida, Road and Race Automotive, to build the car to ITA specs in 2008. At some point, he brought it up to NY and used it primarily for autocross.

Current status: I purchased the car last June with intentions of racing it in ITA this year and do some enduros but I've since relocated to Austin, TX and have no intentions of bringing an IT car to Texas. The car and it's spares are currently located in East Greenbush, NY. Car has an SCCA log book that has yet to be transferred from the previous owner's name.

Engines: 325 eta motor (m20b27) in the car, comes with a fresh spare eta motor on a custom fabricated low-profile engine stand on casters, easily wheeled around a garage.

Cooling: PRW aluminum radiator, SPAL 16" efan, new oem expansion tank, external oil cooler

ECU: Bosch Motronic w/ Dinan D9000-2711 chip

Exhaust: IE long-tube headers, custom fabbed collector to a full rear exit for Lime Rock HPDE noise restrictions. Side exit can be fabricated from the collector without much difficulty.

Suspension: H&R springs, Bilstein dampers, front & rear strut bars, front and rear sways

Clutch: OEM, BW SS slave line, fresh TOB & hardware

Drivetrain: Getrag 5spd, 373 rear lsd w/ Z3 diff cover, IE dssr shifter kit

Brakes: Motul RBF600, hawk HT10

Wheels: Sits on Ronal basketweaves that the PO used for autox, they're too wide (and heavy IMO) to race. comes with a spare set of wheels for wets.

Tires: whooped Toyos, you'll need some

Exterior: FL chassis, so minimal rust for a 1986. chassis is straight and true, see photos

Interior: Autosport cage, all 2008 GCR req: battery cutoff, fire extinguisher, paneled, etc., Longacre ignition/start, deep Sparco w/
quick disconnect. see photos.

Spare parts: fresh M20B27, two totes of spare calipers, coolant pipes, belts, clutch assembly, OE exhaust, the rest of the 12pk of Redline
50WT race oil, lower valence, bumpers, and probably a lot more that I'm missing. A box of manuals, incl. a sealed bentley manual and misc.
paperwork will be included.
