Selling a new sticker set of 4 Non-Dot Continental Slicks never mounted in 245/45-17. $690.00
These are made by Hoosier for Conti and are very similar to the R6. I used another set I have for 30 minutes and they showed next to no wear when compared to the r6 and provided similar grip that didn't fall off. I manage a 1:18.7 with them and they had more in them. My record is 1:15.9 on a far cooler day on R6's and I believe these conti's could touch 1:16 with the right temps.

I have information from Hoosier that indicates that the Conti DR compound is in fact the R6 compound (the oval tires and endurance compounds are different). The tire caucus is thinner since they aren't DOT rated.
The conti's are good value!

Under touring rules super sticky non-DOT slicks are a 13 point tire, however since the compound for the Continential DR are R6 compound (or harder for the oval compounds) they are currently considered the same point value as the DOT R6 and we have called that out in the rule book.
These tires are illegal for SP since those rules require DOT tires.
So bottom line, legal for Prepared, and legal for touring (6-points, plus 1 width point for a total of 7 like a regular Hoosier).
