Miata soft top removal ?

I have a Miata that I plan to run in ST3. I am considering removing the soft top and installing a full cage for safety reasons. I would run with the factory hard top installed. Could I do this and stay in ST3?<br>

yes. This change was made last year as a result of member input<br>
