Nice car for 1k! What is your plan Mark? You going to part it out, drive it, or resell it?

Part it out? No way! This baby is a survivor. All the body panels were original, perfect lines, with no collision damage and the typical Miata dogleg rust holes. I welded in some repair panels, sanded to metal, reprimed the entire car, then 4 coats of base color and 4 coats of clear coat.Wet sanded and buffed, the car will look like glass. I fixed the driveshaft/seal/bushing issue and a few other tidbits..and it drives very nicely! Tranny shifts perfectly, motor is strong,no smoke, excellent oil pressure.Torsen diff too. They built these cars very well.
I bought it with the intention of selling in the spring..however.. I do have a very nice 347 on an engine stand...and a rollbar...in case it doesn't sell...
I like working on Miatas as they are inexpensive, simple, easy to push around and don't take up much room... (plus they are cool... 8) )

wow, this is great. I always like to see someone save a car instead of part it out. I look forward to seeing it.

If this were my "preferred brand" at 17+ years old,it would usually look like this:

Jeff W, "Alpha"??? Franchement, check spelling por favor!

If your 17 old Alfa looks like above then how come my 38+ year old Alfa looks great?
