I don't know Dan.... I have some Devens results archived somewhere around here that contradict the faster part of that last statement.

Gee Troy I've only entered one Auto-X in my entire life and if my old mind remembers correctly I won the class. Since it was my first Auto-X it was the novice class with quite a few competitors
Plus I don't consider driving around a bunch of cones , even a long course like Devens, to be the same as the closed course track where speeds reach well over 100 mph.
This car has done 2:18-2:19s at WGI with the air conditioning on

Plus you get 2 cars for one price.

You entered the novice class and beat up on people with zero experience? Shame on you.

Yes Troy, I entered the novice class because I was a novice

It was my first Auto-X ever. As you and I both know from instructing, just because you are a good Auto-Xer, does not mean you are good on track

And just because you are good on track, does not mean you are good at Auto-X. I have had several students with a lot of parking lot cone work but needed a whole new set of skills on the track. But this topic is not about my driving but about my car which is for sale. As you will remember this is the same car that beat your Mustang Cobra that had 500 h.p. I built the car to handle and left the motor stock to last
P.S : I will also be selling my 2006 Lotus Elise with Sport pkg., Touring pkg., hardtop and phantom black paint. Car has just over 8k miles. I also have a 1962 Alfa 2600 Touring Spyder for sale plus a few other rare cars for sale.Plus Troy, if you want go fast all the time, I have one of my planes for sale.

Someone is touchy...

Just poking at you Dan!!
I do think it is a great car for someone looking to make the step into something that is already sorted out and well prep'd. I honestly would have considered the car for myself at one time prior to getting sucked into Miatadom.

Thanks Shawn, The car ran great

It even beat the new 2012 Mustang Boss Laguna Seca w/444 hp. and get into the high 1:16s and secured a fouth championship for me

Not bad for an "old man's car"

Now I just need a buyer for a proven winner

Violence towards the elderly is frowned upon at COM. Try the PCA instead for old man mud slinging
