I have a car that I am prepping for a sale. It's a 1999 Subaru 2.5rs in Black.

The car should make a great track car if someone wants a Subaru.

Stuff we don't care about:

Interior is very good. Could use new floor mats but they're all there. Dash and seats are perfect. Dash is unmolested, original everything.
AC and heat work, windows and lights and blinkers all work. No CELs.

Stuff we care about:

Engine seems strong. It's smooth and quiet. The car has just over 100k on it. Gearbox shifts well, clutch is strong. Brakes need replacing. I will do this if someone buys the car. If they want to buy it without new brakes then the price is lower because I don't have to deal with it.

There is some rust on the body. The rear fenders are a little rusty. The paint is very good though and the rust could be fixed. The car has all it's documentation and records as well as a clean title which I am waiting for at the moment.

With new brakes I'd like to sell the car for $2500 bucks. Without brakes, PM me and we can talk but be ready to tow it home because the car has been sitting in someone's garage for years and it NEEDS brakes.

Cash is king so if you want a track car, hillclimber, ice racer, winter ride...whatever let me know and we can work a deal.

Carl, it seems to be a solid car.

I have a stack of invoices from a Subaru dealer. Headgaskets were replaced as part of a $3400 service in 2007. Timing belt and related components were done at 90k.

All the service is up to date.
