COM/Hillclimb informational day at DSG

Post by agrabau » Sat Jan 31, 2009 8:05 pm

Hi everyone. I wanted to thank all the COM guys that came down to help with the informational day we had at the shop. (Will, Sam, Bill, Curt, Gordon, Fred) ((and of course Ron who was the anchor))

We had many interested people in the club and I think that everyone had a great time. Lots of happy faces.

I'll post more photos as people send links. Those were taken by Adam, a COM member (with the green Mini)
Thanks Adam!

For those interested in hillclimb, we also had John and Brian as representatives of New England Hillclimbing. I'd encourage COM members to check it out. It's a whole new experience to be had. The address for more information on that is www.hillclimb.org

First event is in May.

Alex and the guys at DSG hosted a great event for friends and customers interested in taking their driving (and cars) to the next level: attending a high performance driving school with COM at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen, or Mont Tremblant. There is nothing more rewarding than experiencing the benefit of car mods and performance driving skills on a road racing circuit, and from the great cars in the parking lot I know DSG can do the car prep for anyone who is serious about getting into track events.

Thanks to Alex, Ron, and the rest of the event organizers for the great video presentation - I can't wait to get on track in April at NHMS and Watkins Glen, with or without my hood pins (I've done it 4 times myself  ).

Sounds like an awesome event. Good for the club, and good for DSG.
Thanks to DSG for organizing and hosting this series.

Alex, Ron, & DSG,
Thanks for a great event last weekend. The information seemed to be very well received by all who attended.
I look forward to seeing you guys at the track. Soon.
