Classified section?
Are you selling a dual bag vacume cleaner by any chance?
Hmmm...I guess a new set of Hoosiers (that won't fit her car anyway) is out of the question...

Re: Don't get stuck in the doghouse!!!
Years ago I bought my wife a vacuum for Christmas. It was "Sears Best" - no skimping for my wife!
Then the ladies at work told me to never buy my wife something that plugs in as a present.
So since then I've gotten her an ironing board cover and a grass rake (with a nicely padded handle) for past Christmas presents.
This reminds me that I haven't gotten her any thing this year - Christmas is this month right?

I have found my wife likes whitish/green paper with old dead men on it. Never complains.
Although one year I laminated them for fun..she did NOT see the humor...

No but a GPS with alterior motives would be nice for her to find the way out of the street and return safely home... then I could "borrow" so I can "navigate" to Watkins Glen and Mont Tremblant next year.breakaway500 wrote:Classified section?

Re: Don't get stuck in the doghouse!!!
Stephan, as a world traveller you know what real money is of course. Sadly, many Americas are clueless to the facts of their monetary system. Am sure the guys/gals here on COM are also quite wise in the way of things. Heck, they keep on just printing more dollars to support the upcoming stimulus package(s), continue the bail outs and are right now at the tune of about 8,500,000,000,000 ($8.5T) right now as it is! Kinda like Ferrari making 3,000,000,0000 cars a year versus 5,000. Somethings gotta devalue. Too bad those of you with children, well your kids will have to endure something they had no part in yet will suffer greatly from. ANYWHO, i really love this video from Presidential hopeful Fred ThompsonStephanAlfa wrote:I was looking to get some of that... beats even the most convervative bond investment...
Speaking of devaluation, have you seen the bargain basement prices of Italian cars here in America? ALMOST got another one, then remembered the cost of parts and/or the darn wait times for parts... and the PIA it is to fix these Italian cars versus the FC. Maybe we should go halves on a old VW and relive our youth? If we ball it up at the track we can simply walk away and LOAO at the good time we had with it
