World of Wheels car show

Post by grovefromnh » Sun Nov 16, 2008 7:58 am

It's too bad that, once again , Com will not have a booth at this show. Aside from being a winter gathering point for the members, it also helped bring new members and interest in the club. it looks to me that the idea of e-mailing other clubs/sites about COM is NOT working too well.

I have thrown this out to the BOD and some are all for it. It may be a problem this year (2009 actually) because it hit right at our Annual Banquet. I will mention it at the BOD meeting on the 19th to see what the reaction is. I know at least one other board member has actually checked out the possibliiies of attending this year.
Thanks for your continued interest in the future of the club, Grove. I trust you would help us in this endeavor?

I'd be glad to help for next year's show. I think it's too late to enter this year. The show usually falls on the same weekend as the banquet. Used to be a busy weekend when I was doing both trophies and publicity. Thurs night - show setup, Fri afternoon- pickup truckfull of trophies.fri night - work the show Sat am- drop off and arrange trophies. Sat pm work the show, Sun- work the show then break it down. By the way SAM how is my trailer doing?? No payments recieved yet.
