I am willing to be a steward.
I have helped with tech in the past and am willing to help when I can - this works best at tracks where we have the opportunity to drop off or unload the night before the event. I often don't have time to get my own car unloaded and ready for tech/track and be able to make drivers meetings etc. when doing tech.

Awesome Kieth! Somebody needs to keep those Subies in check!
There are actually 2 different specialties involved.
Tech Stewards evaluate cars for rule compliance and answer questions regarding rules. These inspections are done when a car is protested or when a car sets a class record (after the car has completed the time trial on day 2). The Nate Hine, our Chief Steward, presides over the crew of Stewards.
Send an email to nate at driversupply dot com or talk to Nate at NHMS.
Tech Inspectors evaluate cars for safety (and safety-related classification) on the morning of events. Bill Fitzmaurice, our Chief of Tech, presides over the crew of Tech Inspectors.
Send an email to bilfitz33 at verizon dot net, or talk to bill at NHMS.
I'll send an email to both Nate and Bill to check this thread, as I'm not sure how active they are on the forum.
Thanks!

WIll:
I am already doing this as a "volunteer" but if you need to make this official I'd be happy to make it official for doing tech inspections for safety. these are the ones - as you mention - that are done by Bill F., you, etc.
Count me in.
I'll let the Tech Stewarts (Nate, Bill, Les, you) figure out if my red springs are stock .
Geesh! Gimmeafriggin break...If they weren't would I be getting beat by a student at WGI or at other tracks like NHMS, and Mosport, and Lime Rock, and Calabogie?
:dontknow:
Besides, If I'd get non-stock springs, I'd be at lot lower and without any body roll! Note I am STILL getting motion sickness from rocking that thing.
I need to tune up my expresso machine in the glove compartment to act as a turbo ... oh, shhhh! Silencio! :-$
I inquired about getting lower spring recently plus urethane bushings... plus intake and exhaust... for ST-4... I am still considering this...
Anyway, count me in, as usual.. officially

Steward
Nate asked me last year to be a Steward, and I agreed. I guess due to my busy schedule etc. we have not "hooked up" to make it official. I am still willing, but unlikely to hit too many events this year.
