Price for Hoosiers???

Post by Shawn624 » Wed Jul 25, 2007 4:22 pm

I'm getting Hoosier R6 225/45ZR15 for $216 mounted, balanced, with new stems. Is anyone in the Nashua area doing better than that?

That sounds like a good deal. About equal to my Ra1's 235/45-17's for $900, mounted, balance, etc.
However, I have being shipped up from Texas, 2 R6s NEW and 2 with one heat cycle, then parked for the grand total of....$302 to my door.

There are some very good deals on the SCCA Market Place Forum

Is that a heat-cycled tire? Seems like a good price for it.

Good used tires abound if you're willing to search and have a good place that will mount & balance them without gouging you.

That's a brand new tire. Up at NHIS one of my "great deal" used tires came apart on me near the end of the day. I don't know enough about them to just look at them and determine whether they are useable. The tread wear indicators were good, but the rubber began separating from one of the tires after a full day of laps.
