IT'S REAL!!! New track in NJ!

Post by enjoythemusic » Sun Jul 01, 2007 7:40 am

Yup, a real track with soon to have real tarmac and real financing behind it. Color me an optimist even after those hope and dreams for a sugar daddy track or one stuck in legal wranglings...

Just a heads up and hope COMSCC books some time :)

Not sure what they will ask for a day at the track, anyone know???? It is nice to see a track getting the full go ahead. With one of the principals of NJMP being Harvey Siegel, owner of Virginia International Raceway, we can hope the price will be reasonable. Maybe Bruce can convince Harvey to help out with the SCCA track if he is not already aboard.
Enjoy the Track,

One of the reps from the facility was present at the SVTOA Summit Point event back in May. He had all the literature and aerial shots of the location. SVTOA is planning to book a two day HPDE there sometime in the late summer or early fall of 08.

Hopefully the BOD is already in contact with the track for a future date as they did with Calabogie. 3-4 dates @ NHIS probably won't continue. If we get in early we can request a weekend date.
