I agree. I didn't have a single clean lap on the first day, and only had a few on the second day. It would have made for a substantial discrepancy between my time card and what I actually ran. Prior to that event, I had never timed a lap at NHMS as I was only doing the practice days before this season. As I recall I almost caught Carl who was the last driver out in my group during the TT.DanDarcy wrote:Group One at the July event was a parking lot for the first session !! To be very honest, I would not mind running in any of the licensed groups or the instructor group.....since alot of instructors come out in group 1 as well, I'm sure it wouldn't feel much different. I'm pretty sure I don't hold people up and give timely PB's when I can. I have not been made to wait for PB's very often, but when it does happen, it is usually not one of the regulars.
Then again, I point much more often than I get pointed...
