Clarification of Factory "Roll bar" acceptance

I tell you, as an instructor, that the picture of that Vette combined with my students' 460 rwhp 2001 Vette this year at Limerock with no bar, no harnesses and slippery leather seats - really makes me wonder where we are going with these "street" cars. Although my student was good enough to solo, It was not a very fun ride. And now all it takes is $68k to have a 505 hp
street car.
