I've heard great things about the Hydra. I'm running an outdated Power FC that I'm hoping will mate up to a Motec over the winter
(sorry all and forum mods - I didn't mean to go post crazy there, I just caught a few posts I meant to reply to along the way and didn't put them together like I should have and can't delete them and consolidate now - lesson learned)

So we'll see how it works on Saturday. I looked up getting at set of hoosiers for the car, but was having a problem parting with $1200......I thought drag racing was expensive haha!
I'd suggest you give it some time before jumping on Hoosiers. Run on street tires for 5 or 10 events until you are experienced controlling the car in all situations, and are at the limit of the tires everywhere. Street tires are easy to learn on, and are forgiving. Or step up to an intermediate R compound like the NT01 which last a long time and aren't horribly expensive.

Jon, I'm not sure pathetic is the correct word for a 1'20" lap out on Thompson... you're definitely pushing it at a pretty good clip
Your line and pace looked great - good stuff sir
I appreciate that. It was nice to win, but i didn't drive my best. I think i still had some worry about the drying track.

You have some good lines. Your tire isn't lifting as much as I said it was.
Nice Job!
