That's starting to look good. If your willing to get a mullet hair cut, I think we would take you.
I think a little work with a Sawzal or maybe a 7" angle grinder would clean up the aero and also help with the weight. One or two events in the FP class and you'll start whittling it down.
Have you tried putting it up on sawhorses yet?
Wear the mullet with pride! If you really feel a Mohawk would suit your spirit better, that might be OK too. It's important to have fun.
I'm glad your trying, FP is sounding a little lonely.

Hey Dan, it still looks legal for STGT.

Dan,
Now it is a kit car. SPC. Go for it!
Or get rid of the windshield, then it would be PC.

Sorry Dan, I was trying to tease breakaway500 and I noticed it was you right after I hit submit. I can't help being silly sometimes and it has been a very stressful last few weeks. Why is it that after nearly 10 years I decide to get the car ready and run and then my mother, mother in law and sister in law all land up in the hospital in different emergencies over 2 weeks? Everyone is fine, but my head has been spinning.
So I hope you were not offended. On a side note, any chance we can run events in your back yard if we have trouble getting enough dates next year?
I've always been attracted to cars with a bit of a Mad Max aspect. If your going to run on a track, you just don't need or even really want most of the stuff they put in a street car. So I'd say that car is getting better...

What puts the Atom in PB anyways? Couldn't you run it in SSU? Or SPB as a kit car?

The Atom is a tough car to classify, but I am just grateful to have somewhere to run it. It wasn't ever made in kit form,so technically it isn't a kit.

No offense taken , I though it was funny especially since I have no hair

Mark (Breakaway500) does have hair .
I am undecided on the Lotus, do I put it back together as a track car or put all the interior and "stuff" back in it and use it on the street as i have in the past

It would be cool to install the body using quick connectors.

I say put the stuff back in it..and you can use it for street or track. The minimal weight savings is not worth leaving out the stuff. If you want a stripper I can fix you up with an Atom.. or something from Piedmont street?

Dan, you could mount the body with dzus fasteners so you could run STGT with the body on, and run FP with the body off. Think how many more trophies you could win with this set up.

and without that sound how could I be competitive ?

It's a little odd looking. What class would that be?
It has a rear bumper? The side pod is ginourmous, is that for downforce? The front wing is a little scary with no rear wing, designed for high speed over steer?
The above FF roller with a stock Duratech engine would a lot more interesting, IMHO.
