Re: 2017 schedule
Bruce we've had this discussion. If we don't lose money and it doesn't keep us from holding an event locally- why wouldn't we go to one of the best tracks in North America.
Next time bring some tires and you may enjoy yourself more!

Everyone has spoken so highly of Mosport, I have it on my schedule to try this year for a 2 day race with Chump.

You will not be disappointed Steve. A very rewarding track.

Re: 2017 schedule
It is a great track and I enjoy it but only a small number of members go there, subsidized by the larger membership. I think the current schedule focused on New England is better for the bulk of the membership that is not retired like me or for other reasons cannot take days off from work and finance a very long trip.offcamber09 wrote:Bruce we've had this discussion. Re: 2017 schedule
I think the Club broke even financially at the 2016 Mosport event.
We lost a lot more $$ at WGI last season.

I agree with Mark, Mosport has always been one of my favorite tracks next to the Glen but after this year it jumped to #1.
It has a great flow to it and with the Vette if was a lot of fun. The plus was the great weather we had.
I also hope it does make it back on the schedule in 2018

Re: 2017 schedule
Hi guys, I haven't been able to run with you guys for a few years now, and was going to make my return this summer with comscc!
But I have a question about my TT license and if I would need to be re-licensed since it's been over 2 years since I've been on track with comscc?
Only reason I ask, I was hoping to possibly join you guys for your April test at Thompson, since my wrx hillclimb/track day car will need testing before the season officially starts in may.
Thanks in advance for your responses!

Hi Ricky,
More details regarding licensing is in the rule book on our website. Just click on the rules tab, click on the updated rules book and follow to the chapter on rules.
The license is good for 3 years and after that you must participate in at least one event a year to keep it active.
You can check with will our Chief Instructor first.
Welcome back with a great 2017 schedule.
