Your videos are just as good as mine only different and that is the way it should be. I have always liked black cars and my other car was black but when you sit at the start line doing a hill climb in the sun you soon realize that black is not the way to go........ So please post your video and enjoy what you are driving because I am

This is the morning of the TT. Some familiar faces, and I try to keep up with the T60 Spec Boxter.

breakaway500 wrote:^ Great looking car..every time you passed us, my student and I commented how nice your car looked..and went. My Mazdaspeed Miata with Hydra Nemesis ECU belches flames on decel, and there is a way to stop throttle lift fuel delivery, but when I shut it off,it hurt the tip in, so I left it in flame thrower mode.
Thank you very much for the compliment - what car were you instructing in? Run group three was a lot of fun out on Thompson - great respectable group that were easy to run with all day
How do you like the Hydra? I have to rework my hotside intercooler end tank before I head to my rotary specialist, but should be set for 2016. I'll see if leaning it out cools down the flamethrower
What's your name by the way?
I am absolutely enjoying what I'm driving I have yet to see your car out on track but am looking forward to it. I haven't had a chance to edit my footage from Thompson, but I'll post it up once I work through itblazer178 wrote:Rick

Rick,we were in the black GTO in group 3. I like the Hydra a lot.It is very easy to navigate and you can change anything you desire with the stroke of a key.

It was the white chevy pickup and I was out in group 1 but I was enjoying brake problems so I was not out running as much as I needed and then broke a rocker arm so I was there for only one day

Re: Thomson Pics and Vids..
I am working on that, I'll be at Palmer Saturday too! I talked to a guy who used to run a GTO in SCCA T2 about set up and he gave me some tips to try out. So we'll see how it works on Saturday. I looked up getting at set of hoosiers for the car, but was having a problem parting with $1200......I thought drag racing was expensive haha!

Re: Thomson Pics and Vids..
I would get your suspension dialed in (or possibly changed..heavier springs) closer to a road track setup/tune/ before putting slicks on the car.The back inside wheel needs to stay planted or it will get cooked with all that HP. Cording the edge of a sticker tire will bring tears to your eyes.. Whiskey Hill has many turns..with lots of angle. Turn 5 apex will be like ice in your car...its gotten quite polished with spinning tires..(move out about a foot.. )

Jon, I'm not sure pathetic is the correct word for a 1'20" lap out on Thompson... you're definitely pushing it at a pretty good clip
Your line and pace looked great - good stuff sir

Sorry, to clarify I've seen you at every COM day I've ever run but Palmer 1 this year (I believe you weren't there, right?), I've just never actually seen you and your car running out on trackblazer178 wrote:Rick

Best of luck getting your pickup back up and running!
