We were planning on leaving on Saturday eve and going as far as Syracuse then finishing the trip on Sunday morning. I will know tomorrow if his car will be ready and solidify my plans then. So I might be looking to meet up with some people towing on Sunday morning if my other plan really fails.
I sure hope David D. can make it. Let him know that I'm always available for advice on where to have your BMW worked on.

If interested contact me:
Heading up Sunday Morning - Plan to leave Charlton Rest area at 7 am - Towing trailer w/car with lots of tires, gas and propane.

A tip to pass on from FF - since it is Sunday - stay away from crossing the border at suppertime ( 5-7 ) - all the canadians who vacation in the US will be going home and there will be a lot of traffic, long lines and a dreadful wait.

Shake N Bake.

A quick question. I see that this rest area is Eastbound ... anyone has info on whether you can access going westbound w/o having to make a detour?
Meeting some com mebers there to caravan but just noticed this "slight" detail....

The rest stops are on opposite sides of the highway so yes you will have to make a detour if you aren't all travelling in the same direction.
