Re: WGI September 12 -13, 2011
West Simsbury, which is northwest of Hartford.
Leaving Sunday around noon, hopefully.
I usually take the northern route, going north from my house up to rt 90.

Mark, come to the Harbor Hotel Monday night. Pat and I will be there, cold beverages and plenty of TV's. We 'll have our Pat's gear on.

thanks Mark and Dan, come out 90 W all the way and it was great!!! Got off at 414, it was good. Beti t's better than 14 south, but never been that way but I'm glad I took your advise. 8 hours from so. NH and took 5 breaks with 1/2 hour for lunch. good luck to all . safe journey. See you at happy hour at the Senaca Lodge. Best prime rib!!

Great event!!!! Sam pulled off another great weather event, it was looking iffy on Sunday night. Shake 'n Bake had nice low profile "gathering". The track was fantastic, too bad they don't stay open just a little later, I still had 1/2 a tank of fuel to burn. Thanks to all the people who put this together, we have a blast due to all your hard work. Special thanks to Bob and Tom for their helpful hints, and to Patty for the yummy treats. Hope most everyone had an uneventful trip home, we heard of someone with a broken tow vehicle at one of the Thruway rest areas, maybe it turned out to be something minor??

The trip home involved a second blown trailer tire, and an interview with a patrolman as to why the running lights weren't working on our borrowed trailer for which we had no valid registration. Fun is...
