I think that if you add an electric motor of any size to your race car you get $7,000.
Last weekend at the SCCA National races a Formula Continental's starter solenoid jammed on but the starter and the ring gear disintegrated at max engine RPM. No $7,000.

I'm adding a pair of fans to my brake cooling ducts. Can I get $ 14,000 for that?
