thanks guys i appreciate the input!
DJ, you & Jack were in a conversation today between Dave (friends with Jack) & I @ the Fall Line ski shop in Glens Falls,
most of the SCCA competition schedule does not fit my schedule, but the reason their licence is good to have is that most clubs will accept it & allow you to compete with them, it's useful for open track days at certain track when there's no club involved
did you get your car sorted out?
M
Happy Holidays & a Happy New Year to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the away trips. They get me out the shop for a few days, so I don't have to think about tires and brakes and clutches...and engines...and turbos.....and shocks.... ....

I would like to see a monticello trip as well.Looks like a nice easy trip to do.

What ever happened to looking in to Thunder Ridge in NJ? Might be a crappy drive down through all the cities though.

Is it spring yet? :P

That's a LOT of dollar symbols. Is that for Monticello and/or Thunder Ridge?

Mark , I think the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ are for both tracks. The New Jersey track is priced like Lime Rock.

There is still ongoing dialogue with other clubs. Weekends remain tough and some require a 3rd day to secure a weekend. That is where cooperation among clubs may come into play.
What you see in our list are the confirmed COM only dates.

When I raced at the inaugural SCCA event at NJMP I found it took me 10 hours of tow time. The Board has found that the club will not drive that far. Of course not everyone lives on the seacoast of New Hampshire.

I too plan to be in attendance for the SCCA licensing school at NHMS in mid-April (just mailed in my SCCA membership fee today actually). I was hoping to use the first COM event to scrub in several sets of tires and get used to wearing a nomex suit :D
