Can a club do auto-X in your lot???
Stephan -- its a driveway not a parking lot

its only about 1100 feet long, I guess you could have a mini hill climb

just make sure to stop before you run into the barn

Actually, Raj hit the wall
after the kink. He apparently dropped a wheel off on the outside (right side) of the track as he turned in to the kink. This got him sideways, and his arc carried him through the kink and continued on across the pit straight to the left until he hit the pit wall.
I talked to him Tuesday afternoon as he was working on his car, removing parts from it. He seemed physically fine, and in as good spirits as you could expect, given the circumstances.

FWIW. I was listening to wbz radio this morning, and they said that the tribesmen who own Mohegan Sun are looking at some land in Palmer to build a casino.

Hi Jonathan:
The land in Palmer that they have been trying to get the casino built on, is located just across from the Mass Pike entrance and contains about 150 acres. It is not near where they want to build the track.

Thanks for the edits, Raj appreciates it.
On that note, I also heard that there was interest in a casino in palmer this morning.. Could be a nice destination for track Clubs!

several years ago the town of Palmer voted to allow a casino if the state ever allowed them. but there is no Indian tribe in Palmer for the feds to allow it and the state does not allow it yet .

I am sure they'll find some bloodline ancestry there to make it Indian land.
Be nice to have a track and place to gamble in one area eh?

I guess when it comes right down to it, the entire country was Indian land.

Great job Dan, thanks. Now out of sequence, but I wish I had the Ra1s on for the drive home. No one in Montreal would touch the front brakes until Monday. Such a friendly place to strangers in need!! (and of course all the tools and jacks I need went with the trailer).
See you all at NHIS. Only 3 more track events for the GG (so he says!).

If you have money to waste @ a casino, you haven't spent enough on your car!

The article I saw made mention of a group getting Federal Recognition, which was pushing this forward now - with the backing of one of the CT Tribes (Mohegans I think)
