Fred Bross told me at Mt. Tremblant that he and Jamie (fellow "don't hug the trees" Vermonter) are looking for a pair of FSCCA formula cars (like mine). There have been two advertised by Dophin Motorsports for $60,000 for the package- but they should note the new one listed on Apex:

Fred and Jamie must not got on this forum. Anyone have contact info? Do they have Internt in Vermont?
There is another FSCCA (FE) available this weekend in the Northeast. Crazy Lorenzo showed up at the NHIS race yesterday after missing both qualifying sessions because he had "lost his trailer" on rt 93 on Saturday when it came off the ball and chased his truck down the road.
So, Sunday, after hurridly sticking numbers on the car and asking me about tire pressures and wing settings he did not make it to grid. He told his MoDy helper that he was too claustrophobic with the helmet on and he wasn't going out. Well he did try to go out after the race started and when he repeatedly did burnouts in the paddock trying to get to pit lane the stewards told him to pack it in. I don't think he knows how to work a clutch as a year ago he showed up, did a spinout in pit lane and the on track.
Now he says he wants to sell the car. I can hook Fred and Jamie up with him.

Sounds like crazy tire wear and maybe some rough dog rings in that car... but guess $1002 seems fair even if i'd have to part it out and all that.
It is just a clutch and he can learn how to use one though can understand if he felt claustrophobic, but those FSCCA cars are nice and roomy compared to an FC. Heck, i could probably mount a cup holder, an ashtray for my cigars and still have room for my 8-track music system in those FSCCA cars
Is he willing to learn how to use a clutch? The FSCCA as a super easy sequential shifter too, does not get much easier than that. We need more open wheel wheel guys.
BTW: there are MANY FC cars now for sale on ApexSpeed as the Formula2k series just ended. Lots of good stuff and seems like a buyers market.
