"Licensed, but request instructor" question
"Licensed, but request instructor" question
I was licensed at my last event and am going to NHIS this weekend. I have requested an instructor so that he can teach me the lines, and what to watch out for..basically track-specific stuff. If I feel comfortable after a couple sessions on day 1 to solo, do I still require the instructor?

no
If you were licensed then you will be put in a group that does not requie an instructor. You may ditch your teacher- if you buy him lunch. :spam1:

Instructor payoff part 2
Ok Bruce I'll beat you to the punch...you could also remind your instructor to turn left at the end of the straightaway

What the heck are you thinking
That's gonna be on my tombstone. Sorry to mis-direct your thread. Bruce and myself are instructors and I was refering to the circumstances that led to us both crashing in the last event. Although I'm not sure Bruce actually hit the wall. Really makes you want to ride with us eh ?

South oval
Why is it assumed everyone else was doing it right and I was wrong ?Mark Swinehart wrote:He's referring to his own trip through the South Oval when the rest of the Club was running the Chicane-Chicane configuration.
