PHEW, glad you don't use Ferraris... but they seem to have a way of catching on fire all on their own due to dumb@ss owners not paying attention to things called decades old, never replaced oil and fuel lines.

Of course nothing says warm and fuzzy loving like knowing the gas tank is only a few inches from your head as you drive the car.

No, we don't. If we did, there wouldn't be anyone to block us in the corners and hammer away down the straights

Raj
I can see I've been "away" too long. I look forward to hitting the corners with you guys next season

Miata=kindling...that's the kind of harmonic thinking that will keep the Mustang guys and STIers at peace.

Dan, if you want to come to your senses and run the Mustang I have a rock-hard set of Hoosiers for you mounted on 17" rims. I think we tried the rims on your car to check clearance?

Might I suggest that the Subie guys could use the Alfa for kindling? No problem with heat then. Of course I have a hidden agenda:  If your car burns up you can't beat my slobomatic Sentra!! :D

This is great news. It's good luck when the extended forecast looks grim because they're are always wrong. I'll be expecting sun and 60°

Just a FYI, in general, the 10-day forecasts are total bogus! I met a local forecaster once who told me forecasters literally have no idea what the weather will be outside of two-three days time, and even thats a stretch. They all get their info from the government and tweak it from there. :)

To create the 10-day forecast, they probably just use historical data and mixed in with some 2006 trending.

I am with the Subie guys...pra-for-rain... I'll take rain anyday as long as it is consistent during practice, TT, etc... snow is another matter.
You are right extended forecast is bogus...even daily forecast by some TV experts are bogus. I have a dried hazelnut branch on my porch that can tell weather better than some of the announcers...

Alright! I figured if it was almost 70 out this week it would be snowing for next.

There are generally plenty of Miatas around - we should be able to get quite a bonfire going!

I don't know about everyone else, but I'd gladly pay an extra $50/day to have a warm weather date (no, not Raj) at LRP.

I have my fingers crossed, the only thing I'm really hoping for is that everyone runs the time trials under the same conditions. I'd hate to see someone lose a points series because people end up running in different conditions. Like almost happened to me this year.

Hm... both weather.com and accuweather.com are calling for low 50's in both days, and 10% chance of rain. I'll go with that one :D
