Rule Change #11: Apply credit points to non-computer assist vehicles

Post by Dtangard » Wed Nov 21, 2018 7:03 pm

It seems to me that as the rules stand there not enough compensation/penalties in regards to all the computer aids/nannies/HP of today’s regular automobiles, never mind the high performance version almost race factory cars with multiple levels of driving aids, making a low to mid-level driver look and drive as an experienced pilot and in the hands of an advanced/experienced driver, a huge advantage over non computerized older vehicles, as you know these aids cannot totally be tuned off, the computer is still assisting the vehicle driving dynamics at some level, I suggest not so much penalizing such vehicles since all newer cars have them as giving the non-computer assist cars credit points for being 100% driven/controlled solely by the actual driver.
