FS: 18' V-Nose All Aluminum Enclosed Trailer - Loaded

Post by cmm3 » Mon Jun 06, 2016 1:27 pm

As many of you are aware I had a bad crash/roll over at Palmer on Sunday. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and support.
To repair my car would require a significant amount of work and fund. But other financial priorities (son off to collage next year) prevent me from putting additional money into this sport at this time. Regrettably I'm going to part out the car and sell off all of my track related wares including my brand new Pro-Line all aluminum trailer. Made locally in NH. This is a extremely well made trailer with a lot of upgrades. Below is a copy of the original invoice.

This is a beautiful lightweight trailer that weighs only 2700lbs. It tows great.
I was able to fully open the drivers door on my significantly lowered car fully without a problem,
There is more I'm sure I'm forgetting.
The trailer has less than 1000 miles on it and is new

I'm in no rush to sell at a significant loss. Here is a opportunity to purchase a fully outfitted custom all aluminum enclosed trailer and save thousands of dollars in the process. Will sell as described above for $13,500 or BRO. Call Dan at 603-893-8704

Dan:

Sorry again about the crash.

The track workers gave me a pair of glasses that are probably yours. If you give me your address, I'll drop them in the mail to you.

This just breaks my heart. We had a string of amazing sessions together this weekend.

Best of luck, glad to see you're okay, and I hope we see you back sooner than later.

Hey Jeff, thanks for the kind words and offer to send the glasses, they are cheap scratched up reading glasses and not worth the postage. Thanks again for the offer though.

Thanks to everyone else for the support it's always been great to run with COM, over the last 15 years my hands down favorite group be with.

Please get the word out that this trailer is for sale.

I need to get it sold and it's really perfect for anyone taking any car to the track. I'm really glad I had it this weekend. I used to tow a small tire trailer with my track car and it would have been a nightmare to get home after the crash traveling this way. The one thing I was glad about was that I made the decision to get this trailer. I wish I bought an enclosed from the start as I never had to unload between events and it served as a another garage for my car.

I was so glad I bought it. I got loaded and out of there in 20 minutes. Home to cry in my beer in 2 hours.
Can't imagine what a headache it would have been without it and being at Watkins Glen or Mosport.

Dan,

I was sent out behind you during the time trial session. I am really sorry to see you having to unload everything, but you have no idea how happy I am to know that you are okay

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to getting back on track

If it had happened anywhere and you had driven to the track, me or a number of other people would have trailered you home. Lots of folks trailer street-legal cars, so those can be driven home and a broken car put on a trailer.

I broke my Audi at the Glen twice in 2 months (thanks to the dealership damaging the axles during a transmission repair). In both cases, I had a ride home for the car....

Awww Dan, this sucks. I was not there on Sunday but received the unfortunate call shortly after the incident, along with some pictures. I am very sorry to hear about the condition of your car, and very happy and relieved to know that you are well. You have been a thoughtful instructor and COM member for many years, thank you for your contribution and good-citizenship of our awesome club.

Good luck with the sale, the trailer sounds awesome and I can attest to how awesome it is to graduate from towing a small trailer behind the car, to an open trailer, to an enclosed trailer.

Best of luck to you and congratulations to your son. You know where to find us when the itch returns, and priorities allow!

Best,

Will
