2013 Licenses at NHMS-1
2013 Licenses at NHMS-1
COM Friends,
Apologies for being much later than anticipated with these licenses and care packages (for those the renewed in or before March).
If you are registered for NHMS-1, your license (or Member ID card) will be available. I'll make an announcement at the driver meeting.
Unfortunately, T-shirts and swag bags will not be ready, however we do have all of the swag now (t-shirt, magnets, stickers, etc), so those packages will be going out soon
Again, sorry for the delay. It was certainly not intentional !
200 down, 150 left to print!
Best,
Will

Got my NASA stuff right after sending payment. Never got anything from COMSCC. Fact.

NASA has paid staff. COM is all volunteers.
Can you help us, Bert?

Let me know what I can do. At the all volunteer gun club I belong to, they post tasks that need to get done for members to sign up for. That system seems to work.jeffw wrote:NASA has paid staff. COM is all volunteers.

I sent in my money 10-Oct-2012 when the call for 2013 renewals went out. That was nine months ago. What are the issues here, Jeff?

Hi Bert,
As Jeff mentioned, were all volunteers as you know. Unfortunately many who volunteer for COM do more than one job which takes up a lot of time and effort to run the club. It would be easier if we had more members that volunteer. I am a believer in the 20/80 theory in any organization. ( 20% of the people do 80% of the work and 80% do 20% of the work. The same is in business. 20% of my customer produce 80% of my volume and 80% produce 20% of the volume.)
Recently we have new people stepping up and helping with various club tasks. Hopefully we can engage more to help.
On a side note: Hopefully we will see you running with us soon - Maybe NJMS, which is in your area.

I wanted to run SP Main, but was only at my new job for a few weeks and couldn't get off. Then a family vacation conflict with NJMP. Still hoping to get to WGI this year, but there is a VIR Club event and a NASA Road Atlanta event that same week.
But back on topic. What is the issue we are having with the licenses/member packages and what can I do to help?
Bert
