Since I was sick for several weeks my trip planning was a little delayed and I am only just now getting started (and am finally feeling well enough be excited about it).
I have decided (should have thought of this earlier) to have my exhaust manifolds and all brake lines replaced on my towing vehicle before the Summit Point trip. Hope nothing goes wrong at the last minute.
This means that it will not be so convenient to do my annual trailer maintenance (will have to do it where the trailer is parked in storage instead of towing it to where I keep my tools).
It just occurred to me that my trailer battery might not be in good shape because I forgot to charge it this winter. I assume that this is a possibility.
I hope that everybody else has thought of these things weeks ago.

bad idea.
left manifold rear bolt broke flush with head. now left head has to come off so machine shop can extract bolt. more $$$. I guess I should have done it myself this winter but it was too cold. they say I can have it back next Thursday so I can't get my trailer this weekend.

you can't get a angle drill with a left hand cutting drill bit then drill out the broken off stud ?
did you not heat the head of the bolt up red hot 1st with a torch ?
