I just registered for Mont Tremblent. I got my COM license last year but i was hoping to have an instructor ride along for the morning on the first day. i am currently in Afghanistan and am hoping to make it home in time to turn around and head north to Canada... for the past months my driving habits have been slightly different that those desired on the track.... hence the request for an instructor to ride along...
( I am in the middle truck...and this is after we found the bridge across the river, the first time we just drove through it....and i get paid for this!!!!)

I don't think there is a "car class" for that monster your are driving
Make sure when you register you request a "drive along with an instructor. This request will be to the CHIEF INSTRUCTOR (Will)
Failing that, come see me in the clasroom sessions as I will be covering track narrative OR you can ride with me in one of the Students sessions while I videotape their PERRRRRFECT lines
This Alfa and Driver once held track records there and I love this track.

Hello Jared,
Thank you for your service!
I'm happy to make an instructor available to you at Tremblant, great to hear you are registering for the event.
Will you be co-driving the Mustang with your Dad? Just curious, as I know that the size of the passenger seat demands a "petite" instructor.

Thanks all!!...
Dave, are you gonna make it up for the event?
Yes i will be Co driving the Mustang... I just heard about the passenger seat... Not sure if it will be fixed for Tremblant or not. Either way I hope there is a stubby legged instructor out there that wont mind cruising around with me in the morning... I just want some one to remind me to stay on the right line as a get back into the swing of things... Although i will miss the machine gun mounted up top of my current ride... it really does make cutting through traffic a breeze!

Working on adjusting seat's back angle to be more comfortable, but leg room will remain the same, so a Fred Ferguson size instructor would be the best fit. Jared is driving, so ordered more tires.

Bring the machine gun and mount it if you can. Ammo won't be necessary. The sight of a machine gun strapped to the roof, as viewed through a driver's rear view mirror, would likely inspire immediate point-bys. You might even get two-handed point-bys, ala surrender mode.
Ironic actually, as T1 at Tremblant is quite often surrendering (waiving a white flag).

Thanks COM for another great event!!!... I had a blast remembering everything I have learned over the past two years. The Mustang is defiantly a much different car than I am used to driving. Even with the rain it was still worth it. Sorry i couldn't stick around, the cooling fan died on the mustang so open track wasn't really an option and i had some friends I was trying to get back to see.... So much to do and so little time to do it. Anyway thanks again to everyone who helped out for another great event... See you all next year!!!
