I say bring them to the event. I also found out we did not have a 2nd place for SSA at Monticello. Need that one also.

For NHMS1 June 1, 2010, we need:
PA 2nd place
PC 2nd place
SSC 1st place
SSGT 1st place
ST2 2nd place

Side note, PrizedPossession sent duplicates for ST1 1st, 2nd and 3rd. We should not be charged for those.

As Nate said I had an "agricultural excursion" in Turn 9 during Lap 1.

As the driver two cars behind you, when I saw you down there I said "WTF?? How do you get down there?" And then I decided that maybe I shouldn't push any harder than I already was. :)

I would like to note for the record that our run group was running in the rain, which started as soon as we began, and stopped as soon as we ended. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

Will had to drive a "loaner", Gordon's ST3 Miata, so I am sure he pedaled lightly. Maybe now that Greg has thrown down the gauntlet, maybe we can get Ted D to bring his 450hp STI back. As for myself? No excuses, other then a right upper motor mount that Adrian and I patched together, blowing trans fluid out the relief valve, 2 more neatly shredded front tires, and, besides I had the field covered (except for Fast Freddie - no contest there!) I might break down and replace the factory spark plugs (only 70,000 miles on 'em :!: ) for NHMS2. Anyone have any scabby old 225/45x17 tires I can destroy? :D

I'm not kidding. 270 whp max. I'm still running stock exhaust w/cats and all the rest of the smog crap. It's hard to get reliable hp out of a BMW engine.
Can't rev these engines past 7200 because they don't have a forged crank.
Anyway, I have a lot less hp than the sti and evos in that class.

If you had mentioned it over beers Monday night, I'm sure the 4 of us could have changed that motor mount! Hell, Pat had the goofy glasses with the lights on them

John, that is precisely why I didn't mention it over the beers on monday night! Between the bicycle and my ATV, we had enough fun as it was! Great time, hope you all camp at NHMS2!
