This is one incredible story about a guy with GIANT ones of steel. He's crazy. And I love it. What a spirit. And how much love for racing!!!

"The most epic win in the history of ever."

So says one of the comments, and I could not put it any better myself. This is beyond cool. 8) :sunny: This guy is my new hero.

Unfortunately the article is somewhat inaccurate. He didn't beat any WRC cars. He was about 2 hours off the pace actually. He came in 3rd of 4 finishing cars in his class. There were 9 starters in his class and only 4 finishers.

More rain on the parade- an S14 motor in a $500 car? Probably not.. It's one of those special $500 cars with 10k in mods and 500 hours of labor in it.

Alex, Are you putting a evo engine in the E30? I recommended a friend at work to you guys, and he told me they you where putting an mitsu evo engine in a really old BMW.

Chalk that one up to 'been there, done that' for the DSG guys.

Yeah I did that a while back. We're doing an SR20det in a 2002 right now. It's going to be a rat rod.

I liked the SR20det a lot more but if I ever do it again I'd just build the BMW motor for turbo since it fits just fine in there.
