Sweet. So the little Civic and it's 22" resonator blowing at 98 db @ 50ft would be fine...

From the SCCA supps for a race at NJMP:

SOUND CONTROL. The 2010 sound limit is 103 db. All cars will be monitored on driver’s left at the beginning of the Pit Straight.

The SCCA limit may not apply to us. SCCA racing at Lime Rock is 103 Db. Was 89 for us.

I stand corrected, the supps were for an SCCA Drivers School.

So is that NJMP's limit,103db for COM as well? I did look on their website,but did not find anything listed.

I post sound limits for tracks when updating the track info prior to events. Since this is a new venue, I will contact the track in an official capacity and try to get the information.

so does any one in the club have a db sound level meter ? i would like to know the db level of my diasio before i go 8 1/2 hours to canada .

Many cell phones now have a Db meter feature as well.
