Being an old British car,I would say coasting is OK..probably has no brakes..

Then why does one get flagged into the pits for obeying exactly that??? Turns out my car wasn't broken, the NHMS flaggers were - rotors are *supposed* to glow red if you brake late - it's a racecar after all!
