Ok I changed the pricing. Thanks for letting me know.jadams wrote:I would think that a fair price for the XP10 fronts (Carbotech) would be $140 ($199 brand new *.70 based on your assessment of 7/10 life remaining). And a fair price for for Cobalts would be $269 *.80 (based on 8/10 life remaining) or $215.
How do the Cobolts compare vs the carbotechs? I have always run corbotech pads, so I am a bit hesitant to switch over, but I would be interested to know what you thought about them.
Thanks,

The Cobalts are a more professional pad - NASCAR, etc uses them and as a result, they are a bit more aggressive and have better bite/feel - they feel sort of like the XP8 I ran for a while. They look cool with the little gold anodized rivets.
I'm also a huge fan of the Carbotech. You can run those pads right down to the plate (Carbotech support verified), essentially giving you more brake for your money. Plus they dont dust like crazy and because they are ceramic based, cleanup is easy.
I'm not ready to split up the set yet. But if there are no takers, I'll let you know.
