I'm thinking that Swinecanfly and KC must Subie-car heritage. EVERYTHING Subie guys do is an off-road excursion, so rally decals are perfect!

As someone that just recently received their track license, I would caution against trying to do too much when you get to the track. As such, I'd recommend replacing the hood at home the day/week before.

The day you show up, you'll be spending a lot of time emptying the car, going over the itinerary, checking tire pressures, fluid levels, and possibly swapping brake pads/tires all before teching the car, and if that hood isn't swapped, in your case, it would be bad because you need the oft mentioned safety equipment.

Doing it ahead of time eliminates one headache.
anyways i have to pass the class first
You don't "pass" so much as you receive the instructor's blessing to either time trial the next day or be signed off to solo all the time. Assuming you drive competently you will probably be allowed to time trial, but don't get discouraged if you don't get signed off for your license. I would imagine most instructors would feel a hesitant to sign off a first timer.
...oh ya..when do i get a number that i have to put on the side of my car..cause i want to get one that is magnetic.
If I remember correctly, I received my number when I received my first confirmation email that I was sent confirming registration, but that was about 18 months ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

Suffice it to say, I'd bring along a roll of painter's tape to make numbers with because I think your number assignment will come awful close to the event date and there might not be enough time for the order to come in. Also, in addition to numbers (for both sides) you're going to need class letters so plan accordingly. The tape is also nice to use for the student stripes you have to put on the sides/rear of the car.
