We always stay at the falls motel. Newer place, very clean, very friendly, has a bar and is in the town before the glen.(montour falls i think) Not to mention there is a shortcut to the bottom of the hill- from the track.

They must have lowered their price after I cancelled my reservations (@$75.00!!). I am at the Villager for $45.00. Thanks Frank!

I reserved in January. Last year the owners were real nice and the rooms were good for the price. So we called early this year.

I just booked a room at the Villager Motel. Rates are good, $55 for a double or $45 for a single. The best news is I asked how much snow they had and the woman said its all GONE! She did mention it's going down to 14 degrees tonight, hope it warms up a little before we get there.
Can't wait to get this season started.

I must have a luxury sweet at the Villager motel, because our room is over $100! That is quite a difference in price...... :roll: They must have saw me coming!

This event coincides with our local public school's April vacation.
We're dragging up one son, the twelve year old.
Anyone else planning to bring their kids?

I would bring the boys and a teenage cousin- but having 7-year old Chris around with the teenagers while I'm out on track and given the climate at WGI with guests, kids, etc. I don't think it's the right event.

I thought the DNA tests were "inconclusive".

I wish I could make it but between three days this weekend at NHIS and hopefully Pocono in mid May my permission slips have been used up.

Have fun at WGI.

Carl;
The school recess in NH is the week of the 28th so my boys will have school during the WGI event. Too bad, I would have taken Alex with me.
Last year I tried to take them but given everything was closed nearby (out of season), the only real activity was to go "milk organic cows tour" in the area and I got an "unorganic look" from my family so I nixed that.
